Have you ever wanted to attend a concert, awards show, or performance, but can’t afford the steep prices? Well, here’s an exciting opportunity to help CHSC fundraise AND see amazing shows for FREE!!  For those who don’t know, StaffPro is a staffing agency that provides staff for various sports/concessions/entertainment events throughout the OC, and allows volunteering by organizations such as our own as a source of fundraising. We will be getting paid $9 per head per hour, and although the shifts can be lengthy, the potential for fundraising is enormous.  For example, an 8 hr shift with just 10 people = $720!

Ink Cartridge Recycling Program

Wondering what to do when your expensive ink cartridge runs out? Feel guilty for throwing it away when you KNOW it is bad for the environment? Well, next time you have an empty ink cartridge, you should donate it to CHSC. CHSC can make up to $4 from YOUR expired ink cartridge, which will make events like the Semi-Formal, Battle of the Brains, and Banquet even bigger and better. Plus, you don’t have to feel guilty for not recycling! To see if your ink cartridge is accepted, please check the list posted by the collection box in the Locus. Note: we cannot take Epson, Canon BCI, or generic brand ink cartridges.

To donate your ink cartridge, choose what is more convenient for you:

  • Drop it by the collection box in the Locus
  • Mail your cartridge in a prepaid plastic baggie! These plastic baggies can be picked up from your HA/RA, or in The Locus.

If you have any questions, or want to know how much money we can make with your ink cartridge, please contact Chris at cwlawren@uci.edu.
