What is NAR?

Do you like to write poetry, short stories or songs? Do you like to draw, paint, photograph or model on your computer? If you answered yes to any of these questions then you should check out Neon Anteater Renaissance (NAR)! NAR is CHP’s creative works journal and we’re having our first meeting on Friday, October 16th at 4 PM in the Locus. Come to the meeting if you’re interested in participating, have any questions, or just want to meet new people!

Penny Drive is Here!

It’s once again time to battle for year-long ownership of the CHP’s big screen TV and projector! Band together with your hall and gather your
pennies to win! All other coins and bills are sabotage money – put them in other halls’ jars to subtract from their point totals. The hall
with the most points has first choice of prizes, the one with the most overall money (including sabotage) gets the second prize.

Jars will be available in the Honors office to deposit your money during weeks 4 through 6. Come to coffee hour Friday of week 6 to see the dramatic conclusion of the competition!

Faculty Coffee Hour: Invite Your Professors!

Faculty Coffee Hour is coming up on Friday, November 13th (Week 7). Please email the PAAs (chppaa@uci.edu) by Monday, October 19th with the full name and department of a professor of a class you enjoyed or a professor that you would like to get to know better. Faculty Coffee Hour is a great way to meet professors in a casual setting, so don’t be shy!
