Honors Study Rooms
September 29, 2008 at 9:50 am by Jeff Fulkerson
Need a comfortable place to study on campus? The Libraries have honors study rooms, which are available to CHP students. Just drop by the front desk of Langson Library or the Directions Desk at the Science Library after October 3 and tell them you are a CHP student to receive access to these special study rooms. Please use these rooms, as their availability is subject to our use of these facilities.
483 Science Library
There are some changes this year in the Science Library. There will be one, larger honors study room this year, and it has moved to room 483, which will be upgraded to include couches, soft seating, and new tables and chairs. The room also has internet hook ups, electrical outlets for laptops, and wireless access. (Upgrades should be complete by the beginning of October.) If this room is full, other (non-honors) study rooms will be available in the Science Library with no reservations necessary, except for 10th week and finals week. Keys can be checked out at the Directions Desk (the first desk you see when entering the Science Library). Ask for access to the Honors study room.
457 Langson Library
Langson Library’s Nordstrom honors study room, on the 4th floor, room 457 was renovated last year. It also has couches, soft seating, tables, internet hookups and wireless access. You may obtain a card-key from the Langson Loan Desk. Card keys will need to be checked out and renewed quarterly; if lost, the fee for replacement is $10.
