Sean Okumura | My name is Sean Okumura and I am a premed, third year Biological Sciences major, and as
you will quickly find, am not the typical bookworm. Despite studying hard for school, I also
enjoy many other social activities such as racquetball, bowling, poker, snowboarding, paintball,
or just having a cup (or two) of coffee with some good, intellectually stimulating conversation.
You can also find me shopping at local malls, cooking in the kitchen, listening to
country music, and roaming the wonderful world of Disneyland. Although I graduated from
Mira Costa High School in Manhattan Beach, I lived in Torrance from which I moved to the
Shire my freshman year. Since then I have been in love with the CHP! I was last year's Recruitment
and Retention Chair and am looking forward to seeing the program's continued
growth with all that we have in store for you this year. Being involved with the CHP has
truly given me a fun and rewarding college experience, and I highly recommend that you take
advantage of all that we have to offer. Once you realize how much you can benefit from the
