Resident Advisor - The Shire (Middle Earth Honors Hall)

Stephanie Byshenk
My name is Stephanie Byshenk, and I am the RA of the Shire. I am a fourth year double major in Comparative Literature and Music, with a minor in Education. After I graduate (in another year, hooray for 5th-years) I plan to get a credential and teach high school English. I'm from Chicago, Illinois and spent all of middle and high school in San Jose (Bay Area!). I spent my entire third year studying abroad in London and I have been involved in housing (as a CP, RA, and HA) since my second year. I love to hang out, be silly, eat, read, listen to music, and try new things - the last of which is my advice to you! Get out of your comfort zone and you may find out things about yourself and others that you never would have guessed. I'm more excited than I can say about the coming year, and I hope that everyone stops by the Shire to say hello!

Resident Advisor - Loma (Mesa Court Honors Hall)

Hannah Van Sickle
My name is Hannah Van Sickle and I'm a third year Studio Art major. I am super excited to be the Resident Advisor of Loma in Mesa Court. I currently live in Simi Valley, though my roots are in Northern California. I lived in Loma my first year, and AV 1008 my second year. I really enjoyed my experiences, and admired my RA and HA, which is part of what encouraged me to become an RA. As an RA in a CHP hall, I hope to establish a strong, supportive community within my hall, as well as bond with other CHP halls and the CHP community in general. I recently completed Safe Zone training with UCI's LGBT Resource Center, and I'm proud to say I'm a Safe Zone Ally. I am also the two-year champion of the .Re-use Art Competition., (where participants make art out of trash and recyclables to raise awareness for recycling). The more I have gotten involved on campus, the more fun I have had-- so my advice is to put yourself out there and try new things! I'm always happy to meet and get to know new people!

Resident Advisor - Arroyo (Mesa Court Honors Hall)

Aurora Bedford
Hi everyone! My name is Aurora Bedford, and I am the RA of Arroyo in Mesa Court. I am a third year Informatics major, and am starting a minor in Management. I am a southern California native, born and raised in Pomona (about 40 minutes north of Irvine). I am pretty laid back and goofy at times, and love sitting around with friends enjoying good conversation. I am really excited for this year and am looking forward to getting to know my residents. I.m really friendly, so if you see me around, introduce yourself! I hope to meet you soon!
