* This suggested calendar assumes a June graduation; if you are graduating at the end of some other quarter,
make sure you know the deadlines that apply. You are encouraged to begin research as early as possible.
Major-specific honors program may begin at different times, and some require applications/course work before
or during junior year. Make sure you know the deadlines and details and PLAN AHEAD!!
"When to begin" is a matter of judgment, determined not only by the educational preparation and readiness of
each student but also by the availability of an appropriate faculty advisor.
** If you need an extension to any deadline stated above,
see an Honors Advisor immediately. In all cases where differences exist, school/major-specific
honors program deadlines, procedures and requirements supersede the ones listed above. It is your
responsibility to identify and clarify any differences, and to make a note of what applies to you. |
