 Sarah Barber |
Hey everyone, my name is Sarah Barber and I am a fourth year Sociology major and Management minor who loves the Campuswide Honors Program. I grew up in Sunny San Diego, California, so I adore the beach, good weather, and delicious Mexican food. Around campus, you can find me volunteering as a member of the Social Science Dean's Ambassador’s Council, chatting as a CHP Peer Mentor, going to donor events through the Stewardship Student Ambassador Committee, and, of course, going to as many CHP events as possible. I love the CHP and the many different programs, events, classes, sense of family, and opportunities it offers to each of its members, and I am always eager to share my great experiences with others, so please feel free to ask me questions! I've also had experience with undergraduate research and all of the core courses CHP students are required to take, and I enjoy meeting new people, so come and talk to me anytime - chances are I would love to meet you! :)

 Michelle Tsai |
Hey! My name is Michelle Tsai and I am a 4th year Psychology & Social Behavior and Criminology, Law & Society double major (sometimes I feel like I picked the majors with the longest names!). I'm from the obscure town of Cupertino where the only famous thing is the Apple headquarters. In my spare time I really enjoy singing, finding new and delicious places to eat, watching movies at the dollar theater, etc. I am glad that you chose UCI because it is an amazing campus! In the three years that I've been here, I've developed a greater appreciation for how many opportunities for socializing, academics, and research UCI has to offer. It also doesn't hurt that UCI is so beautiful and is close to beaches and some very amazing shopping centers. Something I wish I knew as a freshmen was to get involved and get involved early. There are so many clubs and organizations that you will definitely find your niche. I look forward to meeting you and don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions or need advice! I love questions and am only an email or Facebook message away :) |
 Teresa Villaruz |
Hi CHPers! My name is Teresa Villaruz and I am a third year student majoring in English with a Creative Writing Emphasis and minoring in Education. My hometown is a little place called Canyon Country (yes, that is a real place) most famously known for being somewhat close to Magic Mountain. Last year, I was a Social Chair for CHSC and an editorial intern for Faultline (MFA literary magazine). I also volunteered through THINK Together, a program that provides afterschool care to elementary school students in Santa Ana. I’d love to help all of you get involved in CHP or with other organizations on campus. With so many options available, the opportunities for growth are as abundant as the trees in Aldrich Park. I’m so psyched to work with all of you and making this transition to college life as smooth as possible. Come visit soon! |
